< Chronicles

Each work produced under the Chronicle
process is the result of layering hundreds of individual photographs, drawings or
writings.

The result is far removed from the subject matter that initiates the path of enquiry.

The main concern of this body of work is to remove the importance of the information in each study. This in turn produces an unimportant surface.

My concerns for making art are of how and why I attempt to create something that should be constituted as art. Chronicles should therefore be seen as the outputs of thinking or observational processes, insignificant to the approach to each subject/idea.
